If you can't, you can make your own art/designs or abstain.

Haven't left the house since Thursday. These chest pains fucked me up so bad I could barely work all week, then I had to fight with my GP for 3 hours just to get some real pain medication instead of kanpo/traditional medicine.
Then the pain meds give me nausea and make me vomit.

It also brings up, imho, the uneasy discomfort that POC artists must reckon with while engaging with these larger systems of white hegemony--namely how they essentially ask them/expect them to package their identity/culture into a 'saleable' and 'consumable' product, reduced to a sort of 'brand'.
This Scholastic controversy just made me realize that using "diverse" just to mean non-white or non-straight is the way it goes now, another special category to be put into. Diversity has to include everything or else it isn't diverse. Otherwise, it's just a new way to say black or queer or whatever
