This dense/stagnant air warning in Portland is no joke. The air is thick and smoky. My one lung is feeling it.

There’s nothing fair about death. For most of us it means that we need to endure the pain and suffering of our dearest loved ones, while we contemplate our own pain and suffering. It’s excruciating. Acceptance is a difficult prospect. We weigh the now and later. The them and us. It’s not fair.

Q: "Do you believe that deadly force was necessary?"

Trump: "It was highly disrespectful of law enforcement. The woman and her friend were highly disrespectful of law enforcement…Law enforcement should not be in a position where they have to put up with this stuff."

The way they all seem so gakked out recently, makes me think they want more than oil from Venezuela. ❄️

Woof. Bluesky is taking a blow. Trust is essential with social media. Once you’ve lost trust, you’ve lost everything.

As signs of aging emerge, President Trump is responding with defiance. He tells WSJ he has eschewed some advice from his doctors and relies on his "good genetics." 🔗 on.wsj.com/3LqRAlZ

This Kennedy Center thing… smh. The official name is the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts. Feel free to squeeze Trump’s name into that, if it retains the same meaning.

This is so powerful.
I showed this to my 14-year-old tonight so that she knows that there are trans adults who are fighting for kids like her. It was a hard and scary day but we both shed some tears of gratitude for @mcbride.house.gov’s clarity, grace and courage.
I was a kid once. And my biggest regret in life is that I never got a childhood without pain.

Politicians should never insert themselves into the personal health care decisions of patients, parents, and their providers—and that includes trans Americans.

Can’t wait to see how that fool will keep a promise!
"But how will we pay for this? And what about the fairness & moral hazard of this non-universal large-scale redistribution?"

Oh, I'm sorry. We only ask those questions when Democrats are proposing policies that benefit left-coded constituencies.
