History has taught us that this is precisely when Donald Trump is most dangerous — and when Republicans turn to voter suppression, election subversion and worse. With the 2026 midterm elections less than a year away, Trump is already plotting his next moves. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/what...

I think the pundits are missing the most important point of the Epstein kerfuffle. The Epstein files are really a proxy for all the MAGA disappointments with Trump. That’s why it won’t die like he wants.

Why Trump’s Ego is More Dangerous than Iran’s Nuclear Threat

Also, checking NYT front page, it does not mention that the murdered Minnesota “politician” was a Democrat and that the shooter was a conservative Republican.

It’s as if the NYT is actively trying to hide the rise in extreme Republican political violence.

Listened to @npr.org last night about 11:30p PDT. Reported that there were maga hats but mostly US flags at Trump’s parade. Then reported some later clashes in LA. No mention of 2,000 No Kings rallies across the country. Nice try but sucking up doesn’t work—and you’ll not be missed.

I wonder if anyone in the Trump regime sees the irony of parading heavy armament and uniformed combat troops in a moment when warfare is about penetration of enemy information systems, strategic assassinations, and asymmetric assaults.

@mollyjongfast.bsky.social The interview with Katherine Clark was a disaster. You tried to draw her out on younger talent in Congress but she was a study in democrat leadership calcification. The lowest point was when she said “we” elected Maxwell Frost and Jasmine Crockett. No, their districts did.

Biden, 52%: “low end approval”
Trump, 39%: proceeding “as expected”
At a hundred days into his presidency, Joe Biden had a 52% approval rating.

As we near the hundred days mark in his second term, Donald Trump has a 39% approval rating.

Here's how those numbers were framed by the media:
