This terrified of biscuits story is pretty full on strange - but having started to read The Fraud, I’m getting the gist of what Labour has become.

Labour's housing minister Steve Reed called the police on a school after learning staff were giving out biscuits with Palestine flag icing on them, which he said was so "antisemitic" that it made his relative "vomit in fear." The police did not respond to his report, he told Jewish News in an interview published on Sunday, but his neighbours confronted school staff because the biscuits were "scaring their children" He told the outlet: "Two Jewish mums came to see me at my advice surgery, to tell me that there had been a cultural day at their children's school where they were given biscuits in the shape of Israel and then iced them with the flag of Palestine." He said staff at the cultural day were "teaching children things that are antisemitic" and his government must "understand where this is coming from and root it out right at the source." "The police didn't even come when we called the police. I had my neighbours out there shouting at them because they were scaring their children. I had a member of my family vomiting down the toilet in fear," he added. "Even though I was able to give the names of two of those individuals to the police, nobody was ever prosecuted for it. The person that organised the incident is a teacher trainer." Reed has received £2,800 in donations from the Israel lobby since 2013, according to 2024 figures compiled by Declassified UK. The Labour government, which has militarily and diplomatically supported Israel's genocide in Gaza for 18 months, has been repeatedly criticised for amplifying spurious claims of antisemitism against supporters of Palestine. But it is believed this is the first such accusation involving a biscuit.
