Actually striking how the 2004 Troy film contains virtually zero Greek ancestry. You would think they would end up with some at least by accident, but nope- it's pretty much all actors from the British Isles (plus Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger).

Like, if you want to argue that the cast of Christopher Nolan's Odyssey film doesn't star Greeks... then ok- yeah, sure. Neither does the 2004 Peterson/Benioff film.

They're hemorrhaging cash, and I have to think that with already-cheaper models out there, their status as the first and best known entry might not keep enough business in their hands if they have to resort to more drastic measures to monetize their products.

Maybe some kind of former British gymnast with the acting chops to lead a series? No idea who's that be. Seems easier to cast someone with the acting chops and get them trained on the uneven bars. Idk.

This hardly matters because I haven't played the games and I'm not planning to watch the show, but Sophie Turner as Lara Croft seems...fine. Her casting for the most part seems fine.
