There are legal gray areas that the 1st strike falls into, and we've seen the Right exploit those literally endlessly.
The 2nd strike has zero gray area. All relevant law is crystal clear. I think that's why the focus is on it, we finally have a concrete situation.

How is a service member to know if the order is illegal or not? That decision requires contextual info that is controlled by other people. This administration has no issue lying to the press, why imagine they won't lie to troops? Dumping responsibility on troops is immoral and unworkable.

I have a very nasty suspicion that $$ are part of the reason these Dems caved. Only Fetterman is actually brain damaged, the others must have logical reasons that transcend the facts we know. In my experience, Money turns out to be the root of most "illogical" actions.

WHY is AI being used to do the tasks humans WANT to do? Train it to do unpleasant or data driven jobs. Like... CEO? It should be replacing C suite execs before anything else. Think of the cost savings for stock holders!
