the transfer to El Salvador of US deportees is, per Pres Bukele, a straight up contract that has “nothing to do w/foreign policy.” The fees we are paying makes their entire prison system “sustainable.” Don’t see how US can make argument that bringing A-G back is some sensitive foreign policy matter

I work in a rural hospital. We rely on Medicaid. Cutting it will close hospitals & cause harm to patients who will not seek care until it is too late to cure. Please realize this impacts so many.

Reminds me of the 5 guys (the G-5) creating DHS. From WaPo: "Falkenrath thought it would be nice to give [DHS] a research lab... He called up a friend & asked which of the 3 DOE labs... 'He goes, "Livermore." He did not realize...he had just decided to give [DHS] a thermonuclear weapon simulator."
Even worse incompetence: they accidentally fired, then apparently today un-fired, hundreds of the people who manage America's nuclear weapons.
