In Ontario,it will be worth your life to walk and bike and ride scooters in our neighborhoods. Children’s lives will be even more endangered.

Here we go again, Ford and his cronies decimating our favourite places in ON. I knew there was more to the stripper story …
🚨 BREAKING 🚨

My office just uncovered that, buried in their Fall Economic Statement, Ford’s Conservatives are quietly seizing control of Exhibition Place.

This would be a really good time for the press to reportt on the actual stories behind the grift and hold the politicians accountable in scrums. Media could inform the general public of what goes on behind the scenes and downplay what goes on in plain sight.
Rohit Gupta, the TDSB supervisor, will earn $350,000 a year +$20,000 in expenses to get the board “back on track” despite an auditor finding no evidence of financial mismanagement.

I still think vaccinating school age children in school is a really good way to ensure most children are being vaccinated, to protect them from diseases.

🚨LCBO revenues down $300 million

💰 that pays for schools, healthcare, infrastructure

Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Kiitos! Children in Canada who can play in sandboxes, make mud pies, wade in streams, swim in lakes and explore forests are very fortunate indeed. School trips to nature centres are an important part of education.
How a radical experiment to bring a forest into a preschool transformed children’s health
In #Finland, kindergartens are exposing children to more mud, wild plants and moss - and finding changes to their health that show how crucial biodiversity is to wellbeing

I hope the Indigenous leaders have learned from the past, to be very sceptical indeed about “gifts” offered by a white settler known for his empty promises.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of Treaties Recognition Week.

To celebrate, Doug Ford is trying to bully Indigenous communities into letting him build roads and mines to dig up crucial minerals in their communities.

And lying about it in expensive ads. Obvi.

The Blue Jays may not be the World Champions this year, but I think that they are the far better baseball team, in fair play, deportment and support for each other. Remarkable role models for adults and children alike.
