We're watching the wholesale burning of every scrap of dignity afforded to trans people in the UK, their rights, their medical services, their employment, their place within society, their bodily functions.

It is a disgrace, and a disgusting stain on the government and media of this country.

For non-Brits: nobody can afford to get sued by revved-up wingnuts and crackpots armed with JK Rowling’s money, and nobody wants to be the next organisation protested by the far right and monstered into the heart of the earth by the world’s most poisonous media outlets. So they are folding.

Literally the only difference between Reform and Labour is that Reform is honest about how much it hates the marginalised

Labour will pretend it's in everyone's best interest and they're doing it for the people and just enact the same policies
“If Labour don’t do this, we’ll get a Reform government”

Trans people, disabled people, migrants, people of colour and people seeking asylum already have a Reform government.

You just want to feel superior to those who like the idea of Nigel Farage as PM.

The last sentence is an interesting moment in the English language. Of course it's true that these articles hinder the removal of asylum seekers, much like making murder illegal hinders people who want to kill people.
There is no difference in practice between removing rights of individuals and leaving the ECHR. The end outcome is still the same, people lose rights. If human rights are an obstacle to your policy it is not the rights which are the issue, it is your policy. Labour going full Reform at this stage.

When Tommy Robinson is celebrating your policies it is time to take a long hard look in the mirror and then quit politics forever.
Not everyone is unhappy about the Government's descent into anti-refugee politics

Today is not the day to argue "oh so you want Reform to win then" as an argument for Labour's indefensible and inhumane anti-asylum policies. At least be honest and own that you're defending racist policies promoted with genuinely far right talking points. Don't try and pretend this is "progressive"

This is what the EHRC's shitty Code will result in.

All. The. Time.

It's already happening, but if the Code becomes statutory this kind of gender-policing-based-on-appearance will become an order of magnitude or two worse.

Brianna Ghey was not murdered in cold blood by a phone. Or a social media app. She was murdered in cold blood with knives plunged into her 28 times by two 15-year-olds fed a constant stream of hate and dehumanization by UK corporate media and the UK government.
Two teenagers were radicalized by the transphobic political climate into seeing a 15 year old girl as less than human. They killed the girl, and then the girl's grieving mother chose to embark on a moral panic crusade against "self-harm", acquitting the actual perpetrators of her daughter's demise.

Honestly terrifying that the BBC can run an unhinged story about lesbians being forced to have sex with trans women, with one of the main sources being a rapist who responded to the story's publication by calling for trans people to all be hung, and the Official Consensus is they are too pro-trans

I think this constant push for immigrants to feel & act ‘grateful’ is so insidious. Let’s change the narrative. Migration is a normal part of human behaviour, not a charity case. If you’re doing your best to do your best, you don’t need to do even more to be accepted. It’s your right to be accepted.

Over 10,000 killed within three days.

Pools of blood around a hospital so large they could be seen from space.

An absolute nightmare.
“Individuals on the ground sent a message that reached us Monday morning that 1,200 were dead,” Nathaniel Raymond, the lab’s executive director, said. “By that evening, they said 10,000. By Tuesday, we couldn’t reach them anymore. We assume our ground contacts are dead.”
