Read something today - NYT Bake Time NL that struck a chord re: NY resolutions: "...I now focus on taking on things that enrich my life, rather than giving up things that create a deficit of joy." I'm participating in Dry January, but I hate it bc I like my 1 drink a day, it helps me unwind. (1/2?)

The Constitution has guardrails to stop tyrants

Yes, Art. I (MAGA majority in Congress) failed to stop Art. II (Trump)

BUT Art. III (trial court judges) have been awesome, as have AG's & other state leaders & the PEOPLE

Trump’s unpopularity proves it as I discussed on @ms.now👇

The Americans Who Saw All This Coming—but Were Ignored and Maligned
Call them the Cassandras: the people—mostly not white and male—who smelled the fascism all over Trump from jump street. Why were they “alarmists,” and how did “anti-alarmism” become cool?

I am so angry about the news that they're trying to shut down NCAR. We've got idiots at the helm.
Severe weather risk in the Rocky Mountain region. In December! Nothing to see here, and by the way, let's shut down NCAR while we're at it.

NCAR is an incredible facility centered around environmental science and research. Russell Vought is POS centered around putting the US scientific community back in the dark ages.
NSF is about to dismantle NCAR at Russell Vought's direction to protect the fossil fuel industry. It's hard to communicate just how much NCAR does, so let's take a look: I've never worked at NCAR, and I've worked with NCAR researchers once ever. What scientific discoveries has NCAR made possible? 👇
