We. Are. Not. A. Monolith.

It makes me sick to my stomach every time I read a post about how “Americans” bombed this or desecrated that- I’m still eating the greens and beans of ancestors who went through hell to be free Americans, and we aren’t down with ANY of this bullshit.

Words matter.

Conventions, if you use AI do not be surprised if creators turn down your invitations to be guests or even to be on panels.

Do not use tools trained on stolen work from creators and then tell them you want to honor or uplift them - that’s not what you’re doing. You’re stealing and being lazy.

And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, being a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.
And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, is-- and always shall be-- your friend.
And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, is gonna need a bigger boat.

I took my late baby sister to go see the Rugrats movie when she was like 6. I was 16.)
Their dog Spike got lost, the babies looked and couldn’t find him, and began to cry.
All 70 children in the audience started crying too.
Hard day to be an empath. It took so much sugar to cheer sis up again.

It’s a conversation of ethics and governance disguised in a fairytale.
A powerful warlord invites a sly philosopher over, says “tell me of all the conquered places I own!” And the philosopher gives him poetic and atmospheric coded descriptions of each, gently proposing what each one needs to thrive.
Every novel is a game the reader and the writer agree to play together, but some novels require more agreement than others. INVISIBLE CITIES really asks you to buy in. How to describe it?

I could tell you, I suppose, that it's a dreamy travelogue of invented cities—
