Good to see such a positive turn of events, I hope it works well for him, I really do! Also didn't know that Greater Manchester has a neuroinclusive code of practice, hopefully other regions will copy this. I'm university educated and autistic and work is so hard to get, it needs to change!

What a bunch of assholes Waitrose are! Next time benefits are attacked, this is what the disabled face trying work! He may have volunteered but clearly liked the routine, he needs to be paid. Obvious exploitation & discrimination from a multi billion pound company!

Seems especially true with invisible disabilities. I used to be really good at masking my autism and was described as ‘higher functioning’ when I was diagnosed as a child. Now I have less tolerance of sensory issues(since Covid) & even family take issue. But I always struggled, I just hid it before!
I think a lot of ignorance about disability comes because many simply cannot comprehend how many of us manage with the symptoms we have.

They think we must be exaggerating.

The truth is were nearly always doing the opposite. It's almost always worse than we say.

Please price it sensibly! About time we got train routes like this.

A direct rail link between London and Berlin could change how people travel between our two countries.

god this reminds me of the day Theresa May's conference speech went wrong in about nine different ways, and there were people saying things like, "I don't know how you can feel so little sympathy you want to make jokes!" and the answer was "REALLY EASILY SORRY, I THINK MOCKING POWER IS A MORAL DUTY"

Something marvellous has happened in Hertfordshire but i bet the press won't mention it. I've now got a Green/Liberal Dem council, Liberal Dem/x county Council and Labour MP. 10 years ago this was a Tory stronghold. Please stop going on about Reform www.bbc.co.uk/news/electio...

Utterly indefensible.

Labour are choosing to cut vital support from vulnerable people.

They are also choosing to protect the wealth of the super rich.

If this makes you angry, do something about it.

People aren’t out of work because their ‘aspirations are low,’ MP Jo White. They’re out of work because they’re disabled. Because their communities have been starved of opportunity. Because vital resources like the NHS and social support have been gutted cementing disability.
