when i was writing my senior thesis, in addition to the books about ancient homosexuality and castration etc, i also stocked my desk in the library with every copy of Infinite Jest i could get my hands on. i think i had like five or six by the end of the year. so i guess i would do that.
alright let’s get something more pleasant going. what two books would you leave out on your coffee table so a reporter can mention you have them. doesn’t matter if you’ve read them. for me it’s Pale Fire (which I did read) and Ulysses (got like 15% of the way in)
