We’ve been for a new years walk this morning - 15km round trip to the Pencarrow lighthouse at the opening of the harbour.
Lovely walk out there but it rained 🌧️for the 7km walk back. We all got very wet.

We have tomatoes - these ones are new for us - it’s a cherry tomato called indigo berry. They are red with a blue black top.

The billington plums are starting to colour up nicely- they are not very big but hopefully with a few more weeks they will be a reasonable size

We have our first peas - mums never tried growing peas before so she was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. 🙂
We are not expecting enough for a roast dinner for a family of 4 but I am helping her eat them 😋😋😋

Although today - I’m referring to it as the ASHES rose.
Why - well the rose is obviously an English flower - but the word Sheila is classically Australian 🇦🇺 - slang for woman 👩 or girl.
It’s apt it flowered yesterday when the Aussies won the first test.
