When did your darling cross the Rainbow Bridge?
A look like that on any other species - imagine the post being delivered by someone wearing THAT look - would be terrifying. On a dog? It's wonderful, heart-warming, joyful. I miss that look, as with so much.

Today at 5:30 am Tork was engaged in his daily sacred ritual of finding the perfect place to pee. For a terrifying moment it looked like today’s target was my sauna 😱 I told him “Do not pee on the sauna Short Man, there are limits to my love for you”. 😂

More exposed skin on tummy or posts. I’ve parted fur and done it that way too. Tork is the first short haired dog I’ve ever had.

I have to leave the door open. The minute Tork hears me lift the lid he runs in with a toy.

Is he still drinking water normally? Try the skin pinch test to make sure he’s not dehydrated. Stool normal? Fever?
I know it’s so hard with an elderly pet because you’re always worried it’s something terrible. 💙

Tork is quite a dapper gentleman and I'm sure a very good boy.
Tork went for a long walk with his girlfriend, Lucy, yesterday. They were play bowing and running after squirrels. After the walk they shared a fancy chewy stick at Lucy’s Mom’s house and Tork sniffed one of the cats! All that before dinner.
