at one point, i watched a cook county sheriff’s officer (who appears to be in charge) point out a priest in the crowd.

I'm just saying, the Catholic Church should make me a Bishop. You need an outsider to keep things from stagnating, get a fresh perspective and all. I would be fabulous in that capacity. Also I could beat ICE agents with that shepherd's crook thing they give you. Really do some brother's keeper shit.

broadview pd turned sprinklers on the people waiting to provide post-release practical support and medical care for arrested community members. after those waiting to provide post-release care moved, broadview pd turned on a different set of sprinklers for the new spot. ugh just leave people alone!
