The thing is, resolutions don't have to be "course corrections" or feel daunting. They can just be commitments to finding a little joy or solace. Last year, I resolved to listen to more music, and I did. It made my year better. It's tough enough out there, you can resolve to find a little happiness.

Also! If there was a situation in a store where I need a man’s help, I’m asking the man with the baby and the wife. Every time. Not some by-himself dude who then may feel like because he helped me out, he now has the “right” to get my number or follow me around or ask about my sex life etc etc etc.
Every day I say married couples are the problem. So I guess married men can’t talk to any strangers in public at all when they are with their spouse. YIKES.
