I adore Sam Rockwell, and the novel was an immediate favorite in 2001. Rewatched the movie this year & it still doesn’t quiiite hit for me, but it’s hard to dislike anything with Rockwell, Anjelica Huston, Clark Gregg (his directorial debut, too!), and Brad William Henke at his sweetest.

DREAD is incredible and incredibly unseen. An ultimate Hip Pocket movie.
I love "Dread." One of the reasons I loved getting to adapt it as a feature for Clive was because it's not supernatural at all. It's just about how fucking deep the well of darkness is in us as people and what we are capable of inflicting on one another. Excited to hear this!

This has been a really rough few days. I recently learned of a controversy around our book THE PRINCESS IN BLACK AND THE PRINCE IN PINK. Some were outraged that Deseret Book carried it (a chain of bookstores in the west). Deseret Book appears to have complied to their demands and removed it. 1/

Yes. Yes! If can can donate cash, or time, those things go the farthest. Pantries have buying power and can make their dollars go farther than we can at the grocery store.
If you have it please donate cash to the food banks. $10 in their hands will feed more people than the $10 worth of canned goods you can buy for retail prices. Also check on your elders. Many of them will not admit they rely on these programs so grocery gift cards or a surprise bag of staples
