A) it was only trained on open-source, public domain materials
B) non-public domain materials could only be trained on if the creator consented and was duly compensated
C) it wasn’t murdering the earth

Sometimes I get reels that are clearly from outside the US, and I guess they're supposed to be comedic? They all share this trait where, at the end, it cuts to just a guy laughing with a laugh track laid over it. I guess that's my clue that it's supposed to be funny? Is there a name for this trend?

I just am, not?, interested in player housing in #worldofwarcraft? I don’t see how it fits into the gameplay loop. Maybe that’s because I feel like there is too much to do right now? I’m busy trying to finish up some class set collections, which takes up most of my time. Plus finishing up remix.

This is an aside, but there are plenty of "Right" on Bluesky, from Newsmax to MAGA chuds to official Trump administration accounts. We never see those because there is no algorithm to promote them (in fact there is no algorithm to promote anything).

An adage I live by is Sturgeon’s Law. Sturgeon’s Law states that “90% of everything is crap.” Originally coined in reference to scifi manuscripts, it basically applies to any and everything. This is especially true of social media.
