I feel like people that support generative ai boil down to two believes, whether they know it or not.
1. They think gen ai is sentient.
2. They think it’s ok to dismantle all copyright and personal privacy.

Machines don't "learn" either, if we're mincing words.
Machines cannot "know" something, so they cannot "learn" something.
Machines are processing whatever data they're given without any understanding of what it is they're processing. They provide probabilistic outcomes to multivariate equations.

Better yet: stop referring to it as A.I. at all.
It is ML: machine learning.

I know it’s a pain, especially on mobile keyboards.
But way too many sites use sans-serif fonts, which makes AI indistinguishable from Al; and the Alans and Alberts out there are not destroying jobs.
