I'm Andrew. I like loud music (and soft music too)
I'm very much into the tabletop gaming scene. I love boardgames and role-playing games. I even dabble in creating content for them. I'm active in the Toronto boardgaming community.

while I’m being cranky, access journalism needs to go. When the president does his “I’m alpha because I insulted you” thing somebody needs to fall on his sword and say “what the fuck is wrong with you, old man?” on a hot mic. the hero of the wizard of Oz is Toto.

Alright #DnD hive mind, I’m looking for a tier-2 one-shot that heavily features a horse enemy, like a kelpie, nukelavee, nightmare, etc.
Bonus points if it has nothing to do with bandits or interrupting a cult’s ritual. I’ve got those quests coming out my damn ears!

Don Broco was on fire! My daughter wanted to go up closer so I ended up in the pit for the last 3 or 4 songs. Such an amazing band. Can't wait until they come back to Toronto!

Can the makers of Tylenol sue Trump and RFK for defamation? www.washingtonpost.com/health/2025/...
As Trump ties Tylenol to autism, doctors raise alarms
U.S. officials will issue a warning label on Tylenol for those who are pregnant, a move that contradicts the guidance from the major medical societies.

I've backed the Landmarks of the Lost Atlas Kickstarter and now, tonight, had a chance to play with some of the expansion modules. Very neat additions to the base game. We used the Parks and Waterfall landmarks and the Metropolitan rail. Can't wait for my next play.

Found this massive pair discarded on the street. Time to get it repotted and happy again. I’ll figure out what these two plants are later…or does anyone know just by looking at them?

Catching up on some posts from our vacation. Dinner in Uptown Saint John at Cask and Kettle. Meal, drinks, and server were all excellent. Concluded with an older gentleman tripping and crashing into our table (fortunately he was unhurt), sending my second pint and a glass of water into my lap! 🥶

Had a rare opportunity to get in a play of Titan by Avalon Hill. We used my friends custom Masterboard. The second image shows my Bear Paw legion foolishly attacking my opponents Flaming Eye legion. Bear Paw legion got crushed. RIP.

The at home assassination of a state lawmaker should be getting a bigger reaction from the President than someone throwing a rock at a Tesla dealership.

David Trampier and Erol Otis are my two favourite D&D and Dragon Magazine related artists. Would be amazing to go look at this collection. castleperilousgames.com/photos/galle...
Next time you are in Carbondale, please stop by and take a look at our collection of David "Tramp" Trampier artwork. This is the largest publicly viewable collection of Tramp's artwork in US. #Wormy #davetrampier #ADND

Trump ran as the anti-war guy. Now he’s bragging about “controlling the skies over Iran” and floating assassinations on Truth Social. The peace president was a lie—like the Bible photo-op, the “pro-life” act, and the rest of it.

Last night three of us revisited Acquire by Sid Sackson. We played two times and each played very different. Came out on top in both games. Don't really know why, just followed my instincts. Need to read about strategy for this. Such a good game. Amazing that it's 60 years old.

Happy Mothership Day 👽

Seven years ago today the Mothership Player’s Survival Guide debuted at Origins 2018! We only printed 50 copies and made a single post advertising it on G+ (rip). We sold out that weekend and it’s been an insane ride ever since. Thank you.

Yet another short intro game of Railways of the Lost Atlas. It's a fun game to teach on this map but I need to move on to the long game now.
