Hi all! Apparently introductions are cool here so: I’m a music teacher by day but on the internet I write stories and songs (or think about it) and dabble in a variety of physical and digital art media. Recorder is my favorite instrument. I like to go feral about my friends’ writing and art.

I have a bad case of the craft hops right now, so please enjoy my beaded spider for my best friend’s winter solstice gift. It will eventually be turned into a pin or brooch I think… not sure yet. I’ve never done bead embroidery before this but I’m hooked.

so my partner of 8.5 years and I are no longer together and while it is mutual and on good terms and all I. Still don’t know what to do with that. I am trying to be brave about it, by which I mean I’m consuming 3 forms of media simultaneously and learning a craft so I don’t have to think.
