Weird how the new concentration camp immediately started doing all the same things the old concentration camps did.

DHS is also lying about him being repeatedly told to back away. The video shows the men who pushed him don’t even open their mouths, they just grab him and get them out of the room without saying a word.
DHS is arguing members of the Secret Service don't know who a U.S. Senator is, that he didn't identify himself (he does in the tape), lunged towards the Noem (not evident on the tape), and somehow all this necessitated him being hauled away, thrown to the ground and cuffed. x.com/DHSgov/statu...

Alex Padilla being the guy who got cuffed puts an incredibly fine point on this. He became a senator precisely BECAUSE he is a mild-mannered engineer. Unlike a lot the rest of the Latino Democratic establishment that cut their teeth, he was not a flamethrower. He was a quiet nerdy kid.
