The Ninja Creami is a great ice cream maker for making the ice creams with kids. Everyone can customize their own tub, so there’s no fighting. The process is much simpler and the kids can do most or all of the steps themselves. Well done.

Home Alone is about a grieving mother who can’t accept it her son Kevin is dead, so she begins to fantasize that the reason he’s not with the rest of the family is not that he’s dead, but that he was somehow left alone, and he’s in danger, and if she can just get back to him it’ll all be alright.

this is a good reminder of how things that are shitty but have been accepted as normal and inevitable can actually turn out to be abnormal and evitable with some science, time, education and political will

The company had some fun budget left for this year, so the employees arranged two private screenings. One for the new Avatar, one for Die Hard.

Die Hard is damn fine movie 👍

This week I discovered that The Snowman book / animated film also has a video game adaptation. However the only source of information about that is in Italian. Not sure if this is a hoax or not.

UNINTERRUPTED CYCLING NETWORK.

In most cities, cycling involves a constant cycle of stop-and-go. You hit a red light, you wait for a turning truck, you yield to pedestrians. It kills the momentum.

Here in Oulu, the experience is completely different. Here’s why👇 1/3

Oh no I didn’t want to believe but I guess it’s true. Men are just too emotional to be presidents 🙁
White House spokesperson:

The President is extremely frustrated with both sides of this war, and he is sick of meetings just for the sake of meeting.

He doesn't want any more talk, he wants action, he wants this war to come to an end…

I will go to my grave screaming about how Pennywise being a clown hits completely different for anyone under 40 or 50, because the original intent was that Pennywise LOOKED HARMLESS, because “IT” predates scary clowns, & if the story were modern, Pennywise would manifest as a ninja turtle or Luffy
Welcome to Derry reveals why It loves to use the form of Pennywise the Clown so much.

When cartoon characters discuss numbers in base ten rather than base eight, it takes me completely out of my suspension of disbelief. Their society would not have developed that way.
