The lack of imagination, or even familiarity with any literature other than the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is breathtaking. The existence of narrative continuity in the Craig movies was novel to the franchise. Just go back to treating each new movie or book as a standalone!
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

The Constitution grants Congress the power to establish judicial jurisdiction by law. The Supreme Court should have a limited number of years in which it can declare any act of Congress unconstitutional. The number could be big! 12 years is a long time!

A Fullerton police officer told the agent he couldn't help 'with someone following or recording him if no crime had occurred.' Under state law, local police cannot enforce federal immigration law.

I can't tell you how many interviews I've done where I've been asked: If Trump's policies are so problematic, why are U.S. stocks rising so rapidly.
A bit of international context illustrates the real issue here.
U.S. stocks have dramatically underperformed other advanced economies.

I’m remembering the spring night in 2010 when I was at the opening game of Nats Park and President Bush jogged out onto the field to throw the ceremonial first pitch. He was booed, sure, but he just threw the pitch and waved, he didn’t try to make everyone listen to him give a speech.
BREAKING: Trump just got loudly booed at the Commanders game.

A colleague’s request sent me into the have-read section of our library looking for a tome, and I discovered I still have Alinsky on the shelf. Totally forgot I still owned it; haven’t opened the book since it was assigned in college. I’ve been carting it around unopened for thirty years.

A reminder - last March, republicans promised to restore $1.1B in funding to DC in exchange for funding the government, and Mike Johnson never took it up in the House.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Doku is the real Roy Kent: He’s on the left, on the right, up the middle, seemingly at all times, wherever the ball needs to go in any given moment. He’s here, he’s there, he’s every f’ing-where. It’s like he plays in a quantum state as a wave, not a particle, and the ball is the observer.

I asked Georgetown law prof David Super wtf is going on with this latest demand for states to claw back benefits already sent out.
He says the law doesn't allow for this, and if the USDA is mad that states already sent out SNAP money, too bad—they were following USDA's own guidance. Full comments:

1/ Unique typing style aside, the President raises an interesting question here:
Why do some like me think Congress and the Founders are comfortable with him banning or licensing an import during an economic emergency, but not applying a tariff on it?
Let's talk about it.

We don’t have bank runs in the USA because the government insures bank deposits. Up to a very high threshold, if you have money in a bank and the bank closes, you’ll get your money. But that assumes the gov covers all banks. What if the president pick and chooses among failing banks? 🪡
