The often-overlooked context is that Ark Royal was the Royal Navy's sole fleet carrier after the loss of HMS Corageous and Glorious. Furious, Eagle and Hermes were - at best - light fleet carriers or escort carriers. That meant Ark Royal had to be everywhere, all the time...

Shimane Maru was the first of the special 1TL-type tankers, designed to double as MAC ships and equipped with a flight deck, based on the 1TL-type wartime standard ship built at Kawasaki Shipyard during the Second World War.

It was operated by the Army rather than the Navy.

It makes me furious to see games disappear, regardless of the reasons (even if it wasn't a BSG game).

But since it is a BSG game, I want to pay tribute to it, so if anyone worked on it here, please contact me. 🖖

I already have lots of concept art and assets to illustrate my piece.

Starting November 15, this game and all its DLCs will no longer be available for purchase on any platform!!

Please don's miss it, it's a great BSG game - and a nice tactical.

Some of the latest drydock photos from KIDD’s Facebook page. She’s looking real good and is slated to go back into the water on November 11th, Veterans Day. The return to Baton Rouge still won’t happen until the river rises in the spring though. #NavalHistory

My obsession (something for @thespaceshipper.com ) is thrust. Speaking to too many rocket scientists means I cannot get f=ma out of my head . So when I look at a ship, I see thrust vector no-go zones and directional forces. "Down" is towards the main engines... Would this change ship design?

Another look at the internal explosion process in Falling Frontier -- this time in motion.

Physics determines the movement of debris, so explosions will look slightly different depending on where the final death blow lands.

Not to mention that it makes the real horrors invisible. Which is AI's ultimate advantage for all the horrible people in the world. If everything can be fake, then nothing is true. Doubt is their best ally. Let's not participate in it.
My German grandmother, a war refugee, emigrated to Chicago. She learned how to speak English watching WGN.

When I visited we’d watch WGN every night. Never thought I’d see one of its producers brutalized & arrested by masked US govt thugs.

My mom & grandparents fled Germany bc of this same shit.
