The modern conservative movement is more opposed to America’s WW2 actions than they are to literal Hitler
Two panels commemorating the contribution of Black American soldiers towards the liberation of the Netherlands in World War Two have been quietly removed from a cemetery in Limburg. It follows a complaint by right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission.

every war is stupid and pointless

"What about World War 2?"

yes, even WW2! See, the thing about WW2 that trips people up is that once it started, it was valuable, good, and righteous to fight. The stupid and pointless part is you let it start at all.

My uncle was a WW2 POW. He had to walk across Germany to a camp. He told my cousin the black soldiers were instrumental in us winning WW2 we could not have won the war without them.

It's crazy to watch and observe how the post-WW2 taboo on antisemitism has just completely collapsed in the U.S over the last 3 years. It's like 1880s Europe over there.

Rewatch complete of Ritchie’s great WW2 action comedy banger. One of the most attractive casts in recent memory and each one is totally hooked up. Cool characters, bloody action and a great score. Possibly the best use of Cavill’s natural charisma and screen presence to date!

Presumably Ant Middleton would approve of this because it attempts to erase people of colour (like Adil Ray) from WW2 narratives.
