Alright let's shamelessly self-promote (I swear I'm working on new TSATF chapters)

Despite what my posting activity may tell you, I do actually write things!
I've got an AO3 account if you wanna check all that out (it's very self-indulgent)

Gundam SEED Destiny 1/100 Chaos Gundam!

This is one of the only Gundam kit series I've never built anything from, and honestly for a $28 1/100 from 2005, it's really good!
Pretty solid overall, with nice effect options and a super good build
Definitely gonna pick up some more of these SEED 1/100s

Can't wait to see some people scapegoat Baldwin and say it failed because she voted against the CR when the reality is they would have always done this
UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

HG Xavier's Gyan (Hakuji Packs)!

Wonderful kit with some extremely fascinating construction
Some parts are a bit loose and finicky, namely the arms, but everything else is really fun to pose!

This kit looks so good I wanna get several and do customs for it lol

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.
