It’s just open white supremacy at this point.
Fox News' Will Cain: "I’m sure there are very honorable law-abiding upstanding citizens and contributors from the Somali community here in the United States, BUT..."

He goes on to say "we aren’t going to pretend here that all cultures are of equal value or the same."

There's nostalgia, and then there's Nouvelle Vague's deeply calculated affectation combined with its unabashed love of cinema. Richard Linklater has clearly been waiting so long to make this love letter to one of his favorite films, and so far it is so damn fun watching it play out.

It’s so wild how the wealthy are destroying the Amazon that potentially has the cure for all the cancers in favor of an Amazon that’s creating new types of cancers

I am forever thankful for a dark (family!) comedy centered around so many women who are delightfully unhinged in their own unique ways, and that I could see it on 35mm at the @musicboxtheatre.bsky.social.

Glad to see so many best of 2025 lists have Sinners and Sorry Baby in their top picks...there's hope for cinema.

Really curious to see if this one lives up to the hype and the frigging runtime.

A few weeks ago...you know what, I'm just gonna admire a politician that actually seems that good at his job. And just to avoid any misunderstanding I'm not talking about the one who's sitting.
Trump frickin' loves this guy lmao

Imagine if someone a few weeks ago told you that Trump would call Marjorie Taylor Greene a “traitor” and drive her out of the House AND praise Mamdani as a guy who will do a good job as mayor. What would you have said to that?

So Kristen Bell is starring in a Fox News podcast called The Life of Jesus as Mary Magdalene.

Can't help but think that somewhere a lot of plot got lost and I somehow failed to notice.

Rewatching before I see how it ends on the big screen. I swear the chemistry between these two has been even better off script.

The way too many people actively avoid talking about the unreliability of one of the most famous unreliable narrators in all of the literary canon is really something.
People have been misinterpreting Lolita since it came out and Nabokov was like "you're absolutely wrong; I wrote this to create a trap that you fell into and you should reflect on why you were so gullible about a monster."
