Absolutely fascinated by the work on the buffalo trace water tower. The 'skirt' is to keep all the sand blasted stuff inside.

Invested in a Garmin watch and been training for a 5k (just a run not a race) actually ran for more than 1/2 of it today. Down nearly 20lbs in the process. Not bad for someone who has never jogged before. Happy early birthday to me. #healthy 🎉

Today, my daughter said “I hate you”
I heard on a parenting vid that what they really mean is “I need a hug” (and the like)
So, I asked if she needed a hug. She said yes. I hugged her and explained that she can just ask next time.
Later on she walks up to me and goes: “I hate you I want a hug”
