Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from narrating romance books in the past couple years, it’s that romance fans are loyal, particular, and far smarter than anyone thinks. This is going to feel like they’re being condescended to, because it is. I don’t think they’ll take it well! And they shouldn’t!

Anyone who says this, at best, has no relationship with arts or artists.
“Poor people have no choice but to use AI to make art” is not just an insanely ahistorical take, it’s also an unbelievably condescending viewpoint to espouse on a website full of broke writers and artists

But we lost all those girls. We lost the women they would have become. We lost the work they would have done. Why was his future work so much more valuable than theirs?

I love sending out 100 whistles to someone who is like "hey I don't know what to do, I'm gonna start here and hand these out to my neighbors" because the whistles become not just communication, not just anti-ICE, but a pro-community building catalyst.

Can comfirm from MN, as can anyone who lives here, that not a THING has changed except little Bovino isnt peacocking around the streets anymore. And there hasn’t been a third high-profile murder of a white person yet.

But the gestapo attacks haven’t stopped. At all! bsky.app/profile/jyse...
ICE hasn't stopped brutalizing people or shredding the Constitution, it's just that corporate media turned the camera as the call for action got too loud and the Democrats stepped in and made sure the issue got changed.

If you sit for a second, you'll recognize that's what happened with BLM, too.
