Big Oil's climate lies are fueling the insurance affordability crisis — and the costs are falling on disaster survivors and residents.

A new bill from @scottwiener.bsky.social aims to make Big Oil pay. "We can’t allow Californians, our residents, our small businesses, to be left holding the bag."

They didn't tell me the judge had already ordered my release and return to Minnesota.’

It’s weird how the White House can just blame a “staffer” for the racist post as if just any low level flunky can pretend to be the President of the United States at any random time.

3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

In September 2024, an article described how Chief Justice Roberts pushed to grant President Trump broad immunity from prosecution.
Weeks later, the chief justice abruptly introduced the nondisclosure agreements, after the term had begun.

Judge Talwani says that DHS' view that noncitizens lack 4th amendment rights — combined with ICE use of administrative warrants — is a recipe for abuse.

Absurd.

The National Park Service has removed visitor brochures from Evers' museum and reportedly plans to remove references that call his murderer a “racist"
Medgar Evers’ killer was a Klansman, but Trump administration says stop calling him a racist - Mississippi Today
Among anticipated changes to a new visitor brochure for the Medgar & Myrlie Evers Home National Monument is no longer using "racist" to describe the killer of the civil rights leader.
