On 11 Nov 1920 an unknown WWI soldier was buried at Westminster Abbey. His tomb spoke of glorious sacrifice. But the 1.2 million people who came to see the grave that week saw not glory but the embodiment of the human cost of war: every spouse, parent, or child who never came home.

A few poems my 8yo has penned recently.
Cannot express how much I love watching her starting to fall in love with poetry and being creative through words.
It is amazing to me how imaginatively children can interpret the world and around them when they have the time and space ❤️❤️

Slightly confused that it's the Director-General of the BBC, but what do I know?

In teacher preparation courses, we ask beginning teachers to create lesson plans. Of course, this level of lesson planning depth is not done in the classroom, but it is to learn what makes a good lesson plan. So, I asked AI to do it and described two different contexts. The results were concerning.🧵
