this is comically evil. brazenly anti-social. just absolute black-pilled nihilism. we will not have a republic, we will not be free, until we regulate these companies to the point where — at a bare minimum — they're too afraid to put stuff like this down on paper.

The UK is going to hell in handcart right now, but I’m relieved to say that it’s still inconceivable that our head of state/government would single out individual athletes at the #Olympics for abuse. The USA is in a dark place. A remarkable article.
Amber Glenn won Olympic gold on Sunday. That same day, she left social media because of death threats. Her offense: she'd told reporters the queer community is going through "a hard time." The headline called it "backlash." www.readtpa.com/p/the-thresh...
The Threshold
The right used to attack athletes who protested. Now they attack athletes who express feelings at all.

Fantastic piece on how collective action and care taking, led by Indigneous peoples, is challenging the federal occupation of Minnesota.

Both inspiring and humbling to see how people from all different backgrounds and walks of life have come together.

The occupation of MN has not been broken. The regime would like us to believe that narrative so we focus on something else. But it is still going on and still brutal.

ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”

What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

NEW: A baby held in immigration detention became so sick, she had to be rushed to a hospital in severe respiratory distress.

“She was at the brink of dying,” a lawyer told me.

But the girl didn’t go home after her 10-day hospital stay; instead, ICE put her and her mother back in lock up at Dilley.
Toddler hospitalized with respiratory failure was returned to ICE detention without prescribed medication, lawsuit says
The 18-month-old was sent back to a South Texas facility after days in intensive care with severe respiratory distress, according to a federal lawsuit.

I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

They’re trying to run the Kilmar Abrego Garcia playbook with a five year old boy in a bunny hat because nobody can find peace if they embarrass the Trump administration publicly. Normal people didn’t like it with Garcia and they really aren’t going to like it for Liam.

In a fantastical disappointing update to this, content creators now allege that the head of the British Museum’s social media team is using his personal account to attack them online.

Is this how the British Musuem wants to be seen to be treating PhD Students?

…continue to follow an Ai model used in the photos.

(That last bit, pointed out by the content creators the BM has unfollowed, of course)

Content creators - PhD students - that the BM has happily used in the past for promo and influence.

Everything that is happening under the Trump regime needs to be held fully in the light of day. None of this is accidental - it is a deliberate trampling of the law and the fundamental principles of a free society
