I've made a new tool for creating typographic art with bird names!

FeatherType lets you make your own text compositions, and matches letters with 11,167 bird names. Each letter gets its own feather, with colors extracted from Wikipedia descriptions.

ICE killing #AlexPretti should remind you of police killing #PhilandoCastille. Both men had concealed weapon permits, did not draw their guns, & were killed in Minn. These homicides are the price of unaccountable policing. These deaths are variations on the same fatal theme.

Okay new idea for a library service: leave a hobby take a hobby. When people get bored with a hobby they can come and leave their supplies and books and half-finished things, and exchange them for someone else’s supplies and books and half-finished things. Hobby swap.
