My piece with @drdrehistorian.bsky.social in here is maybe frozen in 2021 in some ways but I will forever stand by the underlying principle that history as a discipline has a real problem with embodiment it won't face up to.

If this happens, one reason it’d be funny is when Bernardi’s Aus Conservatives was wound up, Family First acquired their mailing list and some other assets. FF is still going, Bernardi could join the party that retains some of his political history, but ON is the far-right opportunists’ fancy now
2GB and 6News saying Cory Bernardi will be endorsed as a One Nation Senate candidate. Given One Nation's famous inability to keep its own MPs in the tent for a full term a guy who quit his party seven months into a six year term last time should fit right in.

Its the day for it apparently. Just been announced that ex-Liberal/Conservative Cory Bernardi will be leading One Nation's Legislative Council ticket at the SA State Election, with no news of where current no.1 candidate Carlos Quaremba will go.
