We are told @dcpolicedept.bsky.social is not coordinating with federal abductions but today MPD 4D made a stop and arrest for an individual charged with not having a front license plate while MPD let the federal agents they were coordinating with drive without any license plates. #FreeDC

It would be helpful if DC candidates using Fair Elections funding would segment their email lists and not send fundraising requests to donors who have maxed out. Fair Elections and RCV makes it easier to support multiple candidates and keeping track may become a little harder.

I wrote an article for @petworthnews.org about a 911 dispatch mistake in Petworth this summer and how it is a part of an ongoing series of serious dispatch mistakes that are intentionally not being investigated. If you expect 911 to work in an emergency, 8+ minute delays are dangerous.
In July, a Petworth resident called 911 for a medical emergency. Luckily, FEMS 24 is only 2 blocks away, help should have been there fast. That didn’t happen: OUC sent the call to the wrong address. These mistakes cost time, property damage & potentially lives.

Took another trip on public transit in a new city, Ft Lauderdale, using @transit.app and it was easy. This app makes it so easy to get around new cities. Now if we can talk about pedestrian infrastructure in Ft Lauderdale area...
