So this was all about oil. This has nothing to do with drugs. The drugs were the pretext.

Uhhhhhhh…..this is crazy.

Meanwhile, DOJ is suing DC for our ban on semi-automatic weapons. 🙃
It is illegal under United States law for foreign leaders to have machine guns.

Biden DOJ indicted Maduro for narcotics trafficking and other crimes. That part I’m clear on.

But invading the country to capture him and bring him to NY to be put on trial?!?

We are in some uncharted waters here and Congress is mighty quiet.

If this article was supposed to quiet the talk about Trump’s health, baby, they failed.

What do you mean his cardiovascular health puts him 14 yrs younger than his age BUT he’s downing french fries, a Quarter Pounder, a Big Mac and a Filet-O-Fish on a single flight?!

We got wind of their plans to do this a week before Christmas. Tried to raise the alarm on the Hill — members use these courses too. Everyone was just trying to leave town for recess.

One lesson from 2025 — this Administration is acting when Congress is sleep & on break.

“This doesn’t solve the two fundamental problems, which is healthy food in this country is not affordable and unhealthy food is cheap and ubiquitous”

That part!

I don’t know how managed 20 books after the year DC had, but I’m grateful.

20 books. 18 written by women. 16 authors of color.

Beautiful writing. Imaginative stories. My TBR list for 2026 is already ridiculous.

Thank you DCPL & local indies like Solid State Books for the strong assist!

2025 was A LOT! There were challenges and there was joy. Immensely proud of my team for what we accomplished on behalf of residents this past year.

Onward to 2026.

Watching CBS News become a shell of itself in real time is so sad.
Per NY Times’s Michael Grynbaum on X, this is Sharyn Alfonsi’s email to her “60 Minutes” colleagues in full:
December 22, 2025 at 3:47 AM
“If the standard for airing a story becomes "the government must agree to be interviewed," then the government effectively gains control over the 60 Minutes broadcast. We go from an investigative powerhouse to a stenographer for the state.” - Sharyn Alfonsi, a correspondent who worked on the story

The Kennedy Center is a memorial to JFK. What sane living person tries to add their name to a MEMORIAL?!

This is peak narcissistic behavior. And we need to stop giving the enablers a pass.

What’s next? The Trump-Lincoln Memorial?
