My low key conspiracy is that every billionaire democratic donor who saw a flight or a friend's flight out of Tetoboro cancelled on Friday forced this result on Schumer. This was not about helping people it was about helping the donor class not have any minor disruption of their life.

It really does seem like there's a decent chance that these senators screwed us because they don't want their personal Thanksgiving plans to be disrupted.
Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

NEW from @votersoftomorrow.org:

“Either through complicity or incompetence, Chuck Schumer once again proved he cannot provide the type of leadership that young Americans demand. It is clear he must step down as caucus leader.”

One of the biggest disappointments last 7 yrs is the squad failing to become anything meaningful. We lost Bush&Bowman and no caucus formed. Wish AOC was willing to stand up and forcefully demand Schumer (+others) resign but u can’t act in Congress w/o a caucus behind u. Somebody’s gotta step up here

Not really relevant but when I used to work campaigns I met Cortez Masto and I’ve met a lot of politicians but when I tell u she just had absolutely nothing behind the eyes. Soulless automaton vibes to the point it scared me a bit. Anyway all these folks can get [redacted]

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

They dine and dashed at the table of success. But ultimately the bill always comes due
Eric Adams raised $6.7 million for his 2025 campaign. He received 6215 votes.

So, $1,079 for every vote received. Not great!
