✨ AWARDS ELIGIBILITY POST TIME! ✨

I published ONE story in 2025: LAST TRAIN FROM DEADWALL is my Weird novelette about diesel-powered skeletons, dinosaur bone trains, warring gods, & capitalist horror.

It's wacky fun! It's Locus recommended! I'd be honoured if you considered it in your nominations!

The train reached Deadwall only fifteen minutes behind schedule. Knucklebone thought he deserved some praise for that—maybe even a raise—but was unsurprised when he was shuffled off with the rest of t...

Submit your eligible work! I love that Schrödinger's Award period when a possible future world exists in which I won something.

This year I do not have the luxury of that fantasy. But hey, at least I'm in excellent company!

Been out of the Critical Role loop for a while but this new campaign is growing on me. First ep was a slog, but I'm growing to like these characters more and more and I expect the vibe will be less dense when they splinter off into multiple smaller groups.

Idk probably either the undead trains built from dinosaur bones or the diesel-powered skeletons working the railroad?

Can't stand that adobe's shoving AI in my face at all times, but darkly amused that it offers to somehow summarize 6 pages of working drawings whenever I open up a set of plans.

That's...that's not how any of this works.

may or may not have still had @premeemohamed.com's launch last night on my brain and thought "what would premee do" when brainstorming for this prompt
The market for mega-arthropods is strong these days. Giant bees for cartographer mounts, giant millipedes to excavate new sewer tunnels, giant jumping spiders for rodeos. What do you raise at your farm?

I don't have a book, per se, but if you printed and bound Last Train from Deadwall it would smell like you just dunked the whole thing in a bucket of diesel.
What would *your* book smell like if you engaged in a mega weirdo scented pages promotional campaign?
