it really can't be said enough that this is a person who has dined with the president of the united states
Fuentes then fantasizes about “breeding gulags”: “So just like Hitler imprisoned Gypsies, Jews, communists, you know, all of his political rivals, we have to do the same thing with women… They go to the breeding gulags. The good ones will be liberated. The bad ones will toil in the mines forever.”

It is Wednesday, February 11. The Super Bowl was three days ago. The sun will die in approximately five billion years. Death comes inexorably for us all. And large portions of MAGA and the Trump administration are still talking about Bad Bunny's halftime show: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
MAGA absolutely cannot let Bad Bunny go
Denying his Super Bowl success is a way to try to assert Trump's cultural control.

For @thecut.com, I spoke with Dorothy Roberts about her new book "The Mixed Marriage Project," America's racist structures, the power of love, and how we make sense of our parents’ lives long after they’re gone.

This x10000. If you’re an editor, commission Puerto Rican writers — there are many of us!!
Bad Bunny’s performance began in the plantation, featured broken electric poles, and ended by centering a hemispheric understanding of “América”—among many other things—and some Anglo journalists are like “his performance wasn’t political.”

This is why we need to be telling our stories.
February 9, 2026 at 3:07 PM
He sucks you in by having you twerk to Yo Perreo Sola and before you realize it you’re googling “why is Bad Bunny singing that people were killed for carrying the Puerto Rican flag.”

This is why conservatives in the U.S. mainland AND back home hate him so much.
Benito is a threat b/c he makes art so alluring and enjoyable you want to understand everything about it and then you end up learning about sugar and slavery and colonialism and the Taínos and Hawaii and then you probably have some thoughts of your own, and that's why art is powerful and dangerous

Democracy is not dying in darkness — billionaires are killing it right before our eyes. Solidarity with all the WaPo staff, what a truly terrible day for our industry.
NEWS: The cuts were so severe that at least one department head asked to leave The Post rather than be included in the planning.

Peter Finn, The Post's international editor, requested that he be laid off once he learned about the scope of the cuts to his section.

I scanned how major outlets reported on Bad Bunny's "ICE out" remarks and no one included this background. It's exhausting how the experiences of people in Puerto Rico are constantly omitted from the public record and how Bad Bunny's politics are stripped of its inherent colonial context.
It’s important to understand that Dominicans and other immigrants are part of the fabric of Puerto Rican society — and ICE is currently terrorizing them on the island.

Benito is speaking against what’s going on in the U.S. but also on its colony, where people literally did not vote for any of this.
