IDF soldiers have now themselves admitted they have been ordered to murder aid-seekers in Gaza.

Truly an atrocity built on atrocity.

I loved this book so much. The conclusion to the Enceladons Trilogy is rage-inducing and heartbreaking, but ultimately full of hope. I’m going to miss Sandy (& the good energy humans!). Out August 2025. @orendabooks.bsky.social

Did you buy a book today? Borrow one from the library? Get a loan of one from a friend? Find one waiting for you on a park bench? Yes? Very good, carry on.

I know I’m always going on about the library and what a great resource it is.

But just had to sign my 9yo’s homework and came across this. “I feel safe when… I’m in the library.”

Bit emotional overall! And what a nice accolade for my local library in Cabra, Dublin 7.

This is giving me terrible flashbacks! Everyone who appears in court has had moments like this (although usually not quite so squirm-inducing..).
I need all of #lawsky to see this video from a Colorado appeals court livestream yesterday. I am in actual tears. Sound *incredibly* on, the subtitles will not help.

This is what evil looks like. Murdering starving people.
Israeli forces repeatedly open fire on crowds trying to reach food distribution points led by the disastrous US-Israeli backed #Gaza Humanitarian forum. At least 51 Palestinians were killed waiting for aid trucks yesterday.

As the British state arms and supports these war crimes they'll have Mo Chara in court in London tomorrow to try to label him a terrorist.....

Starving and homeless they were shot dead by the IDF who now also control the tiny trickle of food.

Evil beyond any fucking words.

No vested interest here (other than being a Laois local business)! But if you’re in Bloom and you haven’t tried @ballykilcavan.com beer, give it a go. There are loads and they’re all yum!
Lots of great food and drink combinations up in Bloom this weekend. Here's one of our favourites - Blanco Nino blue corn tortilla chips with our very own Back Lawn lager. Just haven't worked out how not to finish the whole bag in one go yet.
