It’s finally here! Publication day! And not, as my phone keeps autocorrecting it, ‘pub location’ day. 😂

‘Chaos Theory’ has been nurtured for 4.5 years, and now it’s finally out in the world, going on its own adventures. You can get it as paperback, e-book and audiobook.

My debut novel was up on pirate sites the week it was published!

My name broke the Ai - the email praised my “book of Sylvia Plath poetry illustrations”!!

Perhaps the surest sign of AI not being super intelligent is the amount of tailored scams targeting the finances of authors, which is as rewarding as trying to mug a seagull.

Wait till you try and reply to a text message while out walking! I actually wonder if this is one reason for the rise in voice notes!

It me! I went to the optician and they said my reading glasses are when I take off my glasses!

On an iphone, you find the apps on the App Store, you scroll to the bottom of its listing to where it says “Report a Problem”.

Follow the drop down menus to report something illegal.

Here’s my report, as an example. Just takes 2 minutes.

Being a parent I don’t get in as much these days, but when I do there’s this feeling of “phew, it’s still here”, which must mean that I, also, am still here. If that makes any sense.

Relatable! Feels like home or something. Connecting back to our selves.

I loved it! Also a big fan of Here We Go, written by Tom Basden, and occasionally guest starring Tim Key.

Ah it is, for sure. There’s plenty of time for them to find out about life’s cruelties! I play Stardew Valley with my daughter and she’s now “married” in the game and god help us if we ever have to reset or lose access!

Seriously, that is distressing. I have a 10yo who is über attached to humans and inanimate objects alike, and any death or ending or change is devastating to her. (Especially as she lost a grandparent last year.)

Leave it on someone else’s doorstep!

I’ll chime in. I’m pro shoes off in general, but OTOH I hate finding shoes in random places around the house, especially when your partner’s shoes are the size of small row boats. If they’re not going on the rack, I’d rather they stay on feet. I sometimes keep mine on if I’m going back out soon.

I will never forget the Friday I had a wisdom tooth plus the tooth beside it removed and then suffered a “dry socket” all weekend, while still somehow writing my masters thesis on deadline.
