Possibly getting back into videogame stuff. Friend of eggbug. An amorphous blob devoid of politics or identity. Unable to play the banjo. Virtue is—get this—a virtue.

The bots will continue until economics improves

Woke up with the pause music to Goldeneye 007 in my head, after dreaming that some high school friends, Cameron Esposito, Joe Lo Truglio, and I were caught in a rainstorm and had to make an emergency stop at my mom's

The DOJ was required to release all Epstein files, with limited exceptions, by December 19.

According to a court filing last night, the DOJ has released only 12,285 documents.

More than 2 MILLION documents remain unreleased.

Five years ago today, Donald Trump urged his supporters to attack Congress and the Capitol over a proven lie. More than 140 police officers were injured.

Trump then pardoned the attackers.

He betrayed his oath and his country, and we won't ever forget it.

The most unsubtle, heavy-handed claims made by pomo academic types have turned out to all be true. Gender is a relation of domination that requires constant, affirming witness. Capitalism will require extractive colonial relations. There’s no subtlety. Every day is like a 101 seminar at Oberlin.

1. Hundreds of corps that pledged to stop donating to members of Congress who voted to overturn the election on 1/6/21 have broken their promise over the last 5 years

But we've identified 10 promise keepers:

Farmers
Airbnb
Expedia
Nike
Clorox
Eversource Energy
Holland & Hart
Qurate
Whirlpool
Lyft
Five years later, these 10 corporations still aren’t funding election deniers

I want grunge music to make a comeback so badly. I know it still exists. I want it to be mainstream again. And then, maybe, find an evolution that isn't nu-metal

I was fortunate that the indoctrination really didn't take but I still recognize the thought patterns, and yes to all this, and you see it a lot online. People who can't tell the difference between "I don't like this" or "this makes me uncomfortable" and "this is Ontologically Evil"
Growing up in a deeply religious environment, I have a very strong aversion to people who attempt to moralize everything they like or dislike.

There's a difference between "don't buy this because the author donates money to orphan burning machine development" and "fandom proxy war"

i think this site really needs to figure out how to grow the non-politics verticals (the baseball moment was a good thing!) because i suspect a lot of the bad clusters come out of the political clusters driving 95% of ENG-lang posts

❌ "They can't do anything because they don't control any part of government"

✅ When they aren't in power their job is to campaign for that power, including symbolic resistance that asserts values
