Habeas corpus is a legal principle that allows prisoners to challenge the legality of their detention. But in this South Dakota plastic surgery studio, they're not so sure.

I’m officially 35 weeks pregnant and having both insatiable hunger and overwhelming nausea when trying to eat food 🫠 oh the irony

I am in disbelief that Damien Kurek is stepping aside for Pierre Poilievre. It’s disrespectful to the will of the voters in both Carleton and Battle River-Crowfoot. We all know the decent thing to do is for PP to become a talking head on @foxnewsindie.bsky.social 😂

I’m 32 weeks pregnant debating getting one of those rolling nursing carts that can roll from room to room, stocked with breastfeeding supplies & snacks/drinks for me. Any thoughts? Pros, cons? #pregnancy #postpartum #nursing #ebf

The Democrats are lucky to have a politician like @aoc.bsky.social in this moment.
AOC: What they like to call as radical, I believe is common sense.

I believe that when a person gets sick, they shouldn’t go bankrupt in the wealthiest country in the history of the world. Common sense

I believe that a minimum wage should cover the minimum cost to live. Common sense...

Will someone please tell me why @cityoftoronto.bsky.social still hasn’t cleared the crosswalks on University Avenue in Hospital Row 8 days after the snowfall ended?

This is a danger to the most vulnerable and people with mobility issues to not have clear access to hospitals.

So Mitch McConnell won't be seeking re-election next year.

Good riddance.

He and Merrick Garland share much of the blame for this neo-fascistic second Trump term.

In this Indiana diner, everyone has three questions: How's the breaded tenderloin? Is the quarry hiring? And when will the feds finally put an end to congestion pricing in Manhattan?

A reminder I will be providing at least once a month for all of the remaining years of my life:

Months before the 2024 election, the Department of Justice announced that there were at least six hundred Russian assets inside the United States and that some...were SITTING MEMBERS OF CONGRESS.

This is so smart. @petebuttigieg.bsky.social , thoughts ?

And if you see this. A reminder. This is not Twitter. You can engage here and have thoughtful discussions !

We all look forward to reading your thoughts
I keep saying Dems need to do a daily briefing on Capitol Hill and fill the void, fact check the WH. Hire Pete Buttigeig and give him a staff to do this.

Elon Musk to reporter: “We post our actions to the DOGE website. All of our actions are maximally transparent. I don’t know of a case where an organization has been more transparent than the DOGE organization.”

Here’s the doge.gov website IN ITS ENTIRETY. It’s literally a blank page!

Imagine a house on fire. Flames are engulfing the entire structure, and embers are floating to the homes next-door, threatening to engulf the block. That’s the whole “51st State” & tariff thing. Many Americans are in pure survival mode trying to douse the major flames and just stay alive.

All joking aside, with the news today, if Canada got its act together it could attract *a lot* of US researchers.

Jump start R&D in AI, pharmaceuticals, robotics, computing, you name it...

Would require some $$ but the payoff would be big.
Well could Canada just annex the US?

Audio leaked today captured #justintrudeau saying that the “51st State” thing is a real threat to Canada and not a joke.

I apologize for my TikToks 2 months ago where I made fun of Trump’s bluster as “memelording”.

This is a coup. In any other country, an unelected billionaire with personal financial interests ($19 billion in govt contracts) purging the country’s federal civil service would be called a coup.
