I think it’s really good that people are protesting in their own states and cities because it shows that these protests are community driven. Americans can fix this authoritarian slide. They can fix it, but running for office in their own cities and towns. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

For people who aren't in big cities or people who are in red states, these rallies and other actions can be lifesavers. If you think they don't matter, try viewing them from a different perspective.
They do i at least one thing which is get people to not feel so alone.
Less complaining about how big rallies don't do anything, more brainstorming about how to activate their attendees to get involved with targeted campaigns, direct action, and mutual aid.
