It is now 18 months since the European boss of Fujitsu, which supplied the crap Horizon system and whose officials lied to sub-postmasters and to courts about it, accepted moral responsibility and said the company would cough up. Yet it still hasn’t handed over a bean.

The BBC will sack Lineker for his humanity but pay Chris Mason and Laura Kuenssberg eye watering sums to rim Tories and push a right wing agenda.

We urgently need press reform.

Hey British media,
It’s no surprise that if you give Farage the run of the place, he’ll start winning.
Time to do your actual jobs and start interrogating him on his Brexit shitshow, his funding, his Trumpiness, his idiotic manifesto, his real plans for the NHS… instead of drumrolling him into No.10

Today is Observer Food Monthly Sunday. It's a great edition, so please do pick up a print copy. Here's my column, which went online on Thursday as a curtain raiser: as it says, all the grandiose things I have said across 180 columns, in summary.
I have three reviews to go for the Obs but today, after 180 of them, is my last column for OFM. So I thought I’d summarise my searing advice from the last 15 years: the wisdom, the provocations and the occasional stupidities. Enjoy. Or grind your teeth. Your call

This is my final OFM column. Here’s what I’ve learned about buffets, ‘clean eating’ and what not to serve food on | Jay Rayner
Much has changed in the food world but there are a few truths that still hold

Please listen, @wesstreeting.bsky.social Our hospices have wonderful teams of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals who are doing their best to provide good quality care, but they desperately need more funding. Palliative care should not be an optional extra. #hospice #palliativecare
Thanks @lbc.co.uk for having me on to discuss AD.

Both Keir Starmer & Wes Streeting know full well how grossly underfunded UK palliative care is - & they have the power to change that.

But will they?

Or will they turn their backs on dying people?
