Ah, nothing says "smashing the metropolitan elites" like recruiting the guy who got taxpayers to pay for the heating of his stables.

It's a shame this dude isn't a Traitor because nobody seems to have noticed that he's even in the castle. He hasn't been mentioned by anybody, at all. I didn't even know what his name was. #TheTraitorsUK

Telling isn't it that all the "protect our girls" people are still on X despite what Grok is doing.

I am extremely confused as to why the UK government and police are saying Grok’s mass-scale CSAM generation is an issue for Ofcom.

This isn’t about X failing to moderate CSAM, which is an Online Safety Act issue. It is about the company and its technology being actively involved in its generation.

The #traitors hashtag is a strange mix tonight of delight at the unmasking of a reality gameshow villain and the terrifying actions of a reality gameshow villain.

I guess Infantino would be feeling a bit sheepish this morning if that "Peace Prize" was an actual peace prize and not a shameful display of toadying.

What are Scottish people eating at Hogmanay that involves such vast amounts of cream that the shelves are always cleaned out by the 30th?

How lovely. A warm and merry Christmas to all. 🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲
How delicately a Romanesque angel uses the lightest touch of a finger to wake one of the magi, snuggled with the other 2 under their embroidered circular blanket at St Lazare, Autun, c1130 (& how beautifully the textures of pillow & blanket are represented).

Season's greetings to you all!

I'm extremely invested in these absolute lunatics, who are currently ROWING across the Atlantic Ocean. Particularly the legend Milli Abrams, who is 5 foot tall, rowing solo, and will turn 50 in the middle of the Atlantic.

We have reached the "let's eat all the unidentified frozen cubes in our freezer to clear some space" stage of the Xmas preparations. It's like Russian roulette, but with stew/soup/whatever this red stuff is.

This purring fluffalump is helping me overcome the dismay of spending a lifetime wanting a set of twinkle lights for our roof, having them for one Xmas then discovering they no longer work when retrieved from the loft for this Xmas. 😭😭😭🌲

This is an excellent thread about current media hysteria about flu.
🧵 Is it a super flu year? Who knows, but I think the current reporting is stupid.

A pissed off thread using data.

Firstly - here are today's headlines and some from the last 3 years... spot the difference. 1/10

Walking advice from an AI bot that would, if followed, take the walker over the side of a crag.
I'm so tired of this being shoved down our necks.
This is a heads-up about fake AI accounts which have proliferated across social media.

The screenshot is from a genuine thread asking for advice on a mountain route; there are plenty of useful, real human replies.
The attempted reply (we stopped it) looks very real - but it is from an AI bot.

We seem to be rapidly approaching a point where search engines like Google are becoming useless. I assume it's down to AI, but the results seem to be getting noticeably worse and worse every week. It's like watching technology go backwards, something I don't think I've ever seen.

Why are the panellists on #GQT talking about the Black Isle as somewhere on the west coast of Scotland? It's very much on the east coast. Good old BBC London centrism on steroids 🙄
