As a child of the 80s I was promised a much better soundtrack for the end of the world.

Yeah, this was set to "Hide" in my settings. Fuck right off with that.
If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Andrew Cuomo was the US Secretary of Housing and is now running for mayor, where one of the largest agencies they manage is NYC's Housing Authority.

And yet Cuomo literally had ChatGPT write his campaign housing policy.

This is who the media and establishment want you to think is "serious"

This is so good
So, as you might know, I have been in the process of tracking the activities of DOGE staff across the federal government. And now I've built an auto-updating website to browse the data

It's not done (lots more content to write), but news is moving fast, so here it is dogetrack.info

Enjoy!
DOGE Track: Tracking The Damage
A website tracking the various activities of the DOGE wrecking crew across government. Sunlight is the best disinfectant!

the american electoral system is basically 500,000 information-resistant people across a handful of states taking a guess and then going "haha! oops!" every two years. this process takes 18 months and costs four trillion dollars every time

oh look y'all… a way to contact Schumer despite the fact he's doing his slimy, wiggly best to dodge the american people:

SHARE WIDELY

these are schumer's chief of staff and legislative director… two of the most critical staff positions:
If voicemails are full, you can also email these staffers in Schumer's office:

JFC! We’ve got a teenager with full access to the State Department’s data—one who joked about wiping servers after getting fired for leaking a security firm’s info to a competitor.

What could go possibly wrong—except permanent damage to our top national secrets and the trust of our allies.

I don't this story has registered with enough people. OPM is trying to make it possible for Musk to control the IT of every federal agency and department. I assume that would give him access--backdoor access?--to...everything.

Top Dem on the House Intel Committee Jim Himes says in a statement that he understands that the White House “insisted” on the CIA transmitting the list in an unclassified email
New via NYT — The CIA sent the White House an unclassified email listing all employees hired by the spy agency over the last two years to comply with an executive order to shrink the federal work force. One former agency officer called the reporting of names a “counterintelligence disaster.”
