This is what it's like living with a serious heart condition in America. Basically every month I live in overdraft land, and months like December and January with no soccer games to cover are the worst. I have to choose between meds and food.

AI companies aren’t buying up RAM for their current servers.
AI companies are 1) securing long term manufacturing commitments on all memory capacity (RAM *and* NAND), and 2) buying up existing stock on shelves - for servers they haven’t even built yet in data centers they haven’t broken ground on.
