BREAKING: Mace Head has recorded a new provisional Ireland national record for sustained winds with 135 km/h in the recent hour.
Additionally, it managed a gust of 174 km/h. That's the equal highest anywhere in Ireland (with January 2009) since December 1998! #StormÉowyn

General model agreement that temperatures will be falling pretty sharply in the next week over the UK, i suspect that hill snow could become a common occurrence while any widespread low lying snow will be up to the weather gods to discuss

‼️NOTHING‼️ to take as gospel but there seems to an unusual amount of consistency for a cold spell at 10 days time and over, I wouldn't start taking these as potential though until they are at the 7 day range or closer though
